Let’s go go gooooo

Burden of Bosi 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

It’s finally happened!

Fresh of the Instagram newsreel, yesterday, our favourite Scot reported that he’d ticked off Burden of Dreams, V17 🎉🥳

Before this trip Will had been working his replica in the UK and the hardest boulder in the world had never got so much media attention 🎥

Originally know as the Lappnor project, Nalle Hukkataival established the first ascent in October 2016, after three years and supposedly thousands of attempts to send. Burden was unrepeated, although many of the top boulders in the world have been working the problem.

With all the attention that it’d been getting recently it was only a question of time. Over the past few weeks we’d had Will Bosi, Stefano Ghisolfi and Shawn Raboutou all working the problem together. What more motivation could they need!

Another impressive tick for Will to add to his ever-growing list of strong ascents 🙌 🎉 💪

I think someone deserves a cold one 🍻

Diaz cruising in Santa Linya 😎

Talking of people who have sent some of the hardest routes out there. Jorge Diaz-Rollo has again been reminding us of just how strong some people can be 👀

Over the past few weeks he’s taken a break from Margalef and headed to Santa Linya.

The result: 4 9a’a in four days of climbing 😮

The list:

  • Ingrávids shers R3, 9a

  • Joe Dan, 9a

  • Fabelita R2 extension, 9a

  • Fabela pa la enmienda, 9a

Diaz has been on an absolute killing spree all 2023.

In early February he sent his first 9b+, Mejoranda la Samfaina, which was also a first ascent. He then moved on to ticking El Bon Combat, First Round First Minute and then a few weeks later Mr Megos’ The Full Journey.

What a roll!

Keep it up Jorge 💪👏 🙌

Anna Liina Laitinen does her first 9a

Nowadays most professional climbers have been around since their childhood days and slowly progressed through the comp circuits.

Not so for Fin Anna Liina Laitinen.

After starting climbing at age 17, sending her first 8b+ in 2016 at 26, she’s now sent her first 9a, Escalatamasters in Perles, Spain

Super inspiring for all, especially the latecomers to the game!

Congrats to Anna 👏 👏 👏
